Dr. Sun Yat Sen Garden

Located in the heart of Vancouver’s historical Chinatown neighborhood, Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Garden is a Ming Dynasty-style garden, the first among its kind to have been built outside of China. Named World’s Top City Garden by National Geographic, the garden features covered walkways, beautiful pavilions and a collection of 150-year old miniature trees and tai hu rocks. Explore the garden with a guided tour, followed by a tea talk with a tea master, where you learn the significance of tea in Chinese culture. Tour participants will have the opportunity to take the transportation back to the Vancouver Convention Centre or explore on own, all Chinatown has to offer.

Capilano Suspension Bridge
An iconic Vancouver landmark, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park offers an all-encompassing BC experience. History, culture and nature are presented in unique and thrilling ways. Tour participants will have the opportunity to explore the 450 foot long suspension bridge, the Treetops Adventure which takes guests 110 feet (33m) into the mid-story of a thriving coastal rainforest, and the Cliffwalk, which follows a granite precipice along Capilano River through lush rainforest vegetation. Tour participants will receive a quarter pound piece of Capilano’s legendary homemade fudge. Transportation for this tour will leave promptly on time at 5:30pm in order to maximize time at Capilano Suspension Bridge.

Craft Beer Market
With over 100 breweries, Vancouver boasts a vibrant craft beer scene; discover a selection of local craft beers at Craft Beer Market, located in the iconic Salt Building, in the heart of Olympic Village. Originally built in the 1930s, the Salt Building served as the gathering place for olympic athletes around the globe during the 2010 Winter Olympics. Tour participants will have the opportunity to mix and mingle over a selection of west coast inspired cuisine and sample some of Vancouver’s local brews.

* Tours are based on capacity as well as facility operations and availability. Tour dates and times are subject to change and modify. Tours are subject to cancellation by WCMT 2023. Attendees will be notified in advance if a tour is cancelled. Tours will be run rain or shine. Cancellations by attendees will be accepted, without penalty, up to 21 days prior to the tour departure. No refunds will be issued for cancellations by attendees made less than 21 days’ notice prior to the tour departure; however, transfer of your registration to another person is permitted.
